Brandy Snider

It all started in the summer of 1972, when the famous song, “Brandy, You’re a Fine Girl” by The Looking Glass was released and topped the charts as a #1 smash hit.

Given the fact that I was born two years earlier and given the name “Brandy”, I was forever clad with the identity of a lonely bar maid, who served whiskey and wine, never married BUT…… would make a good wife and who loved a man who was never around.

But this time around, now my story is told……

However this time, my stories are told as a woman named Brandy, who drinks whiskey and wine, married, had two children, became a good wife and loves a man who is always around.

Brandy is a happily married, mother of six (two children, two dogs, two cats) and resides with her family in Salt Lake City, Utah. No, she isn’t Mormon but finds the religious culture both intriguing and humorous. She does have Tourette’s syndrome (literally, REALLY, she does!) and possesses the motor tic aspect of Tourette’s, not the verbal, even though several would disagree and believe her verbal tics are evident within her writing.

As a working mother, with Tourette’s syndrome, she has learned to accept diversity in our culture and has revealed a knack in uncovering humor in day to day activities by embracing the flaws in herself that are innate within all of us.
